Newsletter #1: How I Made MORE Money With ZERO Employees (The System Revealed)
Why Most "Successful" Entrepreneurs Are Actually TRAPPED (And How To Break Free)

Dear Friend,
Whether you're just starting your entrepreneurial journey or you've already built a successful business, there's a hidden trap waiting that few people talk about.
It's the trap I fell into after years of success.
By 2015, I had achieved what many would consider the "entrepreneurial dream" – speaking engagements in 11 countries, bestselling books, and a ClickBank Platinum status.

I started receiving the award in 2013, when it was still a paper certificate and not a plated award.
But despite the outward success, I found myself staring at an uncomfortable truth:
I had built a business that required employees, an office, and my constant presence.
For those of you just starting out – this is the path most "successful" entrepreneurs follow without realizing it.
For those already running a business – you might recognize the feeling of being shackled to your own creation.
Either way, there's a better approach. It's what I call Operation Zero Employees – the complete transformation of how I run my business that allowed me to:
Eliminate ALL employees within 60 days
Increase my profit margins dramatically
Create true freedom in my business and life
Today, I'm sharing the foundations of this system with you – whether you're building from scratch or transforming an existing business into something that truly serves your life.
What is an Online Business? (A Reality Check)
Before diving into the Operation Zero Employees system, let's clarify what an online business actually is:
It's a business on the internet that uses digital marketing to promote it.
Simple, right? But this simplicity hides profound implications:
It's a business – not a hobby or a magic money machine
It's highly scalable – unlike traditional businesses with physical limitations
It can be partially automated – but still requires management
It has lower costs – with minimal infrastructure requirements
It offers higher profit margins – especially with digital products
Most importantly, understand that you won't make money just because you have a website. You won't "make passive income" by doing nothing.
I smile when I remember my friend's mother who crafted handmade slippers. When she heard I was in internet marketing, she was concerned about putting her products online because "too many people would buy them" and she couldn't handle the demand!
This mindset is more common than you think. Many still believe that simply "being online" equals automatic sales. It doesn't.
The Three Phases to International Success
In my book "The International Player," I outline the three phases every successful online business must go through:
1. Start Phase 2. Sustain Phase 3. Growth Phase
Most people fail because they try to jump straight from Start to Growth, skipping the crucial Sustain Phase where you strengthen your position in the market.
As I wrote in The International Player, "You'll never get started if you don't have a COMPELLING REASON for starting." This applies to Operation Zero Employees, too. Your compelling reason might be freedom, more time with family, or escaping the constraints of traditional employment.
The Six Rules That Transformed My Business
To achieve what I did with Operation Zero Employees, you must embrace these six rules that completely changed my approach:
1. Build Your Personal Brand. Your personal brand is your greatest asset for selling online. When you have a strong personal brand, you don't need fancy sales tactics – people buy because they trust YOU.
2. Focus on Serving, Not Earning. When you focus on serving your audience instead of squeezing money from them, you create loyal customers who give you referrals and repeat business.
3. Never Fall in Love with Your Product. The market determines your income, not your personal attachment to what you're selling. If it doesn't sell, don't blame the market – re-evaluate your offer.
4. The Market Detects Your Income. Nobody knows if your offer will sell until you present it to the market. Don't try to outsmart the market – adapt to what it wants.
5. Be a Student, Strive to Continue Learning. You'll never know everything in this industry. Arrogance and ignorance will kill your business. Knowledge is key to becoming better.
6. Build Deep, Not Wide. Focus on expanding your existing business rather than opening multiple unrelated ventures. This allows you to combine resources and avoid being overwhelmed.
My Personal Journey: From Greeting Card Salesman With No Academic Qualifications to Millionaire Marketer
When I started in 2003, I didn't have much going for me:
My first webpage was for a site called "eSuccess Mastery" in the personal development niche (and it looked terrible!)
I had zero technical background or skills
I didn't even know proper English
My first job was as a door-to-door greeting card salesman
I lived on a small island in Malaysia called Penang with no connections
It took me 8 months to make my first sale online. But I persisted.
Within 12 years, I had spoken in 11 countries as an authority on internet marketing, authored three best-selling books, trained thousands of students, and became a ClickBank Platinum Partner for seven consecutive years.
By age 30, I was able to buy a multi-million dollar weekend home – it’s not about buying the house, it’s about something that would have been impossible with a traditional job.

But along the way, I gradually built a business with employees, an office, and all the trappings of "traditional" success – until I realized this wasn't the freedom I wanted.
That's when I asked myself: "How can I scale smaller and yet make more profit?"
This question led to Operation Zero Employees, and within 60 days, I had zero employees in my office.
Your First Action Step
As we wrap up this first newsletter, I want to give you a simple action step that will start your journey:
Decide which niche market you want to serve.
When choosing your niche, ask yourself:
Is this your interest or expertise?
Are you comfortable being known in this niche?
Can you build a brand in this space?
Remember, if you have a product "suitable for everybody," it's actually not suitable for anyone. Narrowing your focus increases your impact.
